Description

Professional healthcare providers understand that effective lymphedema management requires consistent, graduated compression therapy delivered through high-quality medical devices. These Absolute Support compression leggings provide precisely that level of therapeutic intervention, incorporating advanced compression technology specifically calibrated for lymphatic support applications.

The 20-30mmHg compression classification represents firm therapeutic support, positioned within the medical-grade range recommended by vascular specialists for managing moderate to severe lymphatic conditions. This compression level effectively addresses venous insufficiency, reduces lymphatic congestion, and supports healthy fluid dynamics within the lower extremity tissues.

Manufacturing standards for these compression garments meet rigorous medical device specifications, ensuring consistent pressure distribution across multiple measurement points from ankle to thigh. The graduated compression profile decreases progressively from the ankle upward, promoting venous return and lymphatic drainage in accordance with established physiological principles.

Material composition focuses on therapeutic effectiveness while maintaining patient comfort during extended wear periods. The 75% nylon construction provides durability and compression retention, while the 25% spandex component ensures flexibility and ease of application. This blend creates an opaque finish that provides aesthetic appeal alongside medical functionality.

The footless design offers versatility in clinical and daily wear applications, allowing patients to maintain their preferred footwear while receiving consistent therapeutic compression. This feature proves particularly valuable for individuals requiring long-term compression therapy as part of comprehensive lymphedema management protocols.

Maternity applications extend beyond traditional pregnancy support, addressing the unique circulatory challenges faced by expectant mothers with pre-existing lymphatic conditions. The specialized waistband design accommodates abdominal expansion while maintaining therapeutic compression integrity throughout the pregnancy progression.

Quality assurance measures ensure each garment meets precise compression specifications through multiple measurement verification points. This attention to detail guarantees that healthcare providers can confidently prescribe these garments knowing patients will receive consistent therapeutic benefit throughout the garment's service life.

The opaque construction provides aesthetic discretion for patients who may feel self-conscious about visible lymphatic symptoms or scarring. This psychological comfort factor contributes significantly to patient compliance with prescribed compression therapy regimens.

Moisture-wicking properties integrated into the fabric composition help maintain skin health during extended wear periods, reducing the risk of dermatological complications that can interfere with lymphatic treatment protocols. The breathable material construction prevents excessive heat retention while maintaining therapeutic compression levels.

Healthcare economics benefit from the durability engineering incorporated into these compression garments. While individual garment lifespan varies based on usage patterns, the robust construction materials and manufacturing processes typically provide 2-3 months of therapeutic effectiveness under normal wear conditions.

Clinical applications extend beyond lymphedema management to include post-surgical support, deep vein thrombosis prevention, and general circulatory enhancement for patients with various venous disorders. The versatile therapeutic profile makes these garments valuable tools in comprehensive vascular treatment protocols.

Patient education regarding proper application, care, and maintenance ensures optimal therapeutic outcomes from compression therapy interventions. Healthcare providers should include detailed instruction on garment selection, sizing, and usage patterns as part of comprehensive lymphedema management planning.

The HCPCS code A6539 classification facilitates insurance coverage consideration for qualified patients, supporting accessibility to essential compression therapy resources. This coding recognition acknowledges the medical necessity of graduated compression garments in treating documented lymphatic and venous conditions.

Size inclusivity considerations ensure that patients across a broad range of body types can access appropriate compression therapy. The sizing system accommodates various leg circumferences and lengths while maintaining precise therapeutic compression distribution.

Professional recommendations typically involve consultation with qualified healthcare providers to determine appropriate compression levels and garment specifications based on individual patient presentations. The 20-30mmHg classification serves patients with moderate to severe symptoms requiring firm therapeutic intervention.

Apparel Attire

Compression maternity leggings puts enough pressure on the extremities to eliminate the negative effects associated with pregnancy. They are designed to help prevent mild to moderate swelling and relieve fatigue and pain in the legs and feet. Shape your figure and style with maternity no-foot and improve the well-being and appearance of the legs. The biggest difference between your regular leggings and maternity styles: extra-supportive waistbands. Most extend high enough to fit over your growing belly with special panels for an ultra-secure fit.  Crafted from a soft spandex-knit blend, maternity compression leggings feature a full maternity gusset for a perfect fit as your tummy grows. These maternity compression leggings may feel tight, but they have a soft, stretchy nylon waistband that won't compress your tummy. Made from breathable, high-performance polyester and spandex mesh, they wick away moisture to keep you cool and comfortable all day long.  No matter where you plan to wear your leggings, the best maternity leggings are made from breathable materials with lots of stretch to accommodate your growing tummy. With an elastic band that hugs your tummy comfortably, and the ability to suck and support, maternity leggings are a staple of most pregnant women's wardrobes. You want your maternity leggings to perform just as well as your favorite regular leggings while providing additional benefits for the expectant mother (such as having a thicker compression band and extra back support). Maternity leggings I've found for working out, doing yoga, and even wearing them under clothes or around the house. The cinch supports my belly and doesn't come off like other maternity pants and leggings.

Material

Opaque: The term “opaque stockings” is used to describe hosiery that tends to be non-translucentOpaque stockings are usually about 50 deniers or higher in weight, thus achieving its thick appearance. Opaque stockings can be made from a variety of material, including nylon. Opaque stockings combine outstanding functionality with an especially soft and pleasant feel. Their refined opacity discreetly hides blemishes while effective moisture management and ease of donning support everyday comfort. As you might imagine, a sheer is going to be a bit more breathable than an opaque stocking. An opaque is wonderful for cooler months when you want the extra warmth. An opaque stocking will effectively hide very pronounced varicosities or unwanted sunspots, while the sheer will cover your legs, but still mildly expose your skin.

Compression: 20-30 mmhg (Firm Support)

If wearing a lower compression doesn’t seem to be minimizing the swelling in your legs enough, higher-grade (or medical-grade) compression may be more effective. Usually, people who suffer from swelling can benefit from 20-30 mmHg socks. These can help them alleviate symptoms of moderate to severe edema and varicose veins. Compression stockings 20-30 mmHg may also help after surgery on the advice of a doctor and reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) from sitting for too long. They are specially formulated to relieve pain in the legs and calves, venous ulcers, edema and other diseases of the lower extremities. The 20-30 mmHg compression stockings from Discount Surgical Stockings have medical-grade standards and beautiful designs that are designed to fit any aesthetic. These socks can help reduce swelling, relieve leg pain, and prevent venous ulcers. These socks are recommended for people with mild to moderate conditions. i am a hairstylist and stand all day. i am due at the end of July and preparing to have a very hot summer. i want to wear compression stockings while working, but when i got fitted at a pharmacy today they didn't have footless. are these as supportive as the ones i would buy at a pharamacy? my main concern is not getting varicose veins. But will my feet swell more because they only go to the ankle? Asked by Rebecca

We have Maternity Leggings. The model number is A718. It is a 20–30 mmHg compression. But it is best if you speak to your doctor first to see what he recommends because of the swelling.

Can anyone tell me if these leggings also provide compression in the pelvis? Asked by Katie

There is no compression on the pelvis.

do you use your pre pregnancy weight for sizing? Asked by Kristen

For this item, you do use the pre-pregnancy weight.

How do these compare to Jobst in terms of "wear and tear"? I machine wash and dry my Jobst's and have toddlers with velcro shoes that catch on them and they've held up very well. Is delicate care is necessary with this kind of legging? Asked by Kristin

Compression-wise, these will last 2 to 3 months, while the Jobst will last 5 to 6 months.
